OK. So I haven't added to this blog in a long, long time! Man, sometimes life just gets too busy. Well, so we had Thanksgiving, Chris' 28Th Birthday and Christmas and I'm just now getting around to writing about them.

So Thanksgiving was great. We spent the holiday with Chris' family. His brother and family came down from Logan, Utah and other siblings came up from the Valley. We were all together except for his brother who is on a mission, (he comes home in June or July). Anyways, it was all fun. Of course I did the "Day after Thanksgiving sales". I talked Chris into going with me this year, yeah! It was fun. We got to Kohl's at 4:00 a.m. and then proceeded to Walmart by 5:00 a.m. and then to Target by 6:00 a.m. Almost all of our Christmas shopping was completed in those 3 hours! At least for the kids. I know it's crazy that I love to do this every year, but it really is fun to me. Chris on the other hand would not tell you that he had a good time, but that he went for me. Whatever gets him there is all I care about:)

Then we had Chris'28Th Birthday. With his birthday being so close to Thanksgiving it kind of gets over looked. It wasn't exciting at all and it's partly my fault. Chris told me, like he does every year not to make a big deal, so I didn't. Really he wants me to, but I didn't figure that out until it was too late. So next year it will be better.

We also had the 4TH year mark for the death of Brittany's mom. It was a sad, but good day. We had the boys pick some flowers out and we took them up to the gave. We spent a little time just sitting up there by it and talking about her. Then we went to her favorite restaurant. We think she would have approved of it all. The kids are really starting to understand why she isn't here with us anymore. They know that she is with Heavenly Father and that we will see her again. :)

Then we had Christmas. It was a fun one this year. Trenton is really starting to figure out the real reason that we celebrate this holiday. It's really cute too. If you ask him why we celebrate Christmas he will say, " So we can return to Heavenly Father." Then you ask him why else do we celebrate it, then he'll say "Mom, it's Jesus' birthday, duh!" Anyways it's so much cuter then it sounds. Tucker still it just interested in the gifts that comes with it all. Every time he sees a Christmas tree he says "Christmas!" Again, it sounds cuter then writing it.

So all in all we've had a great holiday season. We loved every ones cards and pictures. Thank you all.

Chris and two of his buddies were drawn for deer this year in the Prescott area. They had an interesting expierence. No deer were taken unfortunatly, but there was an a couple quad accidents, a lot of walking, and some very tired men. The people in the accidents are all ok and will get better thankfully. There is still one week left until the hunt is over so Chris will continue his quest. We will hope to report to you all of some success.

Well the kids have the costums for Halloween. Trenton is now old enough to care about what he is for Halloween. So this year he is going to be the Trasformer, Bumble Bee. I still get to choose for the other two so Tucker is going to be a monkey and Tatum a bannanna. We'll take them to our trunk n' treat and maybe trick or treating around the neighborhood. I can't wait to take pictures!!!
Tatum Kimber Legler was blessed on May 4, 2008. We had our family there along with friends. After the meeting we enjoyed a lunch at Foxglenn Park while we all visited and the kids played. What I loved is that she was blessed in my sisters blessing dress that my mom had. I felt like my mom would have approved for sure. :)

Our little 5 year old

I still am having a hard time knowing that my first little boy is already 5. I can't believe it, but then again I should because Chris and I celebrated our 6Th wedding anniversary is August. It's weird to think that we have 3 kids. It wasn't so long ago that it was just us and we were dating. Time really passes fast when you think about it. We can't wait for Chris to be done with school and to get our family in the next stage, but it will be so different. We are so use to how things are that I hope we will adjust to it. I look forward to it. This is just a thought that I am sharing out loud that has been going through my head since we started internships.
So I hope everyone VOTED today. We did. It will be an interesting next few days to see all the outcomes of everything!

Poor toe

I can't believe that I forgot to mention that I think I broke my pinkie toe on my right foot. Tatum woke up last Thursday morning at 3:30 am. I stumble out of bed to go into her in the other room, but on the way out I kicked the door frame. I fell to the ground about to burst into tears and Chris wakes up saying, "What is wrong?" I went in a got Tatum back to sleep and then I tried to go back to sleep, but there was no way. I got up and took some ibuprofen and got an ice pack. So I think it is broken, but don't know for sure. I don't think there is a whole lot you can do for it anyways. I've been training for a 5k that I was going to run on the 22ND of this month, but know I can barley walk on it, so I suppose I will have to wait for a latter date.

Trenton turned 5 years old today!!!

Trenton turned 5 today. I sill can't believe that we have a 5 year old...WEIRD. We are having a party for him tomorrow night since today was Sunday. We let him open the presents that Chris and I got for him and he seemed to really love them all because he came to me and to Chris saying "Thank you mom and dad for all my presents you gave to me". It's nice to hear that without having to say it to him first. I felt like all those other times have finally paid off. He really is turning out to be such a good kid and a great older brother. We sure love our guy!
So Halloween was so much fun and I think the kids had a really good night. There was a funny thing though with Tucker. He wanted to trick or treat, but he didn't want to take any candy from someone with a costume on. So he would do this..."trick or treat" and then say, "no" and then run off. Needless to say, he didn't get much candy. That was just fine because Trenton shared his candy with Tucker and Chris and I. All in all we had a fun day!!
Saturday Chris got up way early along with the hunting buddies, Russ and Jay, and our brother-in-law Jake and went hunting. This was going to be their last day because Sunday being the last day and he usually doesn't hunt then. So I'm reporting that there was no success for any of them. It was probably a good thing because it would have been expensive to process the deer anyways. There is always archery deer still and javalina in January. :)

Our Life and Family

Well, I have now officially created this blog. We'll see how good I am at keeping it updated. A little about us...Chris is a student in the Physical Therapy program at NAU. We are finally in our LAST year of school. This year is all internships, so our first one is in the beautiful town of Prescott, AZ. It's good to be home again, but we miss being in Flagstaff. Brittany, me, am home with our three beautiful kids and love it. Little time to do things for myself, but Chris helps me and I sometimes do them. Trenton our first son is 4 years old and will turn 5 in November. He is a curious kid that loved to ride his bike ( with no training wheels) as he would say and loves to just be outside catching bugs and snakes. Tucker is our 2ND son and is a mischievous little 2 year old. Other than getting into everything, he leaves no rock un-turned and anything that has to do with water not splashed in. He is our very energetic kid that we can barley keep up with. Though we couldn't live without him. Then there is our beautiful baby girl, Tatum. Word can't describe how greateful we are that she came to us. She was born March 2, 2008 and is growing like a weed. She turned 6 months old today, the 2ND of September. Her smile is one to light up your face when your day isn't going well. She has been the only one to get Tucker to smile after he wakes up. Her brothers are sure glad to have her also.
Well that is our family in a few sentences. Hope all is good with everyone we know and love!!!!
