He got it!

He got it! Chris was able to get his Elk this year with his BOW! A nice 6x6. That is a hard thing to do, but he did it and did it well:) Chris' Dad was able to go with him and help which was a great father, son bonding time for them. This means we have some Elk jerky coming thanks to some help from two of Brittany's brother's, Ryan and Taylor:) They helped Chris get the Elk out of the really difficult terrain. Thanks everyone!!

Weekend before Labor Day

So of course we got to go to Lake Powell for a great weekend, which it was and I forgot the CAMERA! This great time that we had with all of my family on my parents timeshare on the new houseboat, and I can not document it! My sister-in-law took a ton of pics though and so we have something to remember the fun we had. There were great pics of Trent paddling the kids around in "the boat" or kayak for those of us who use that word. Chris fishing with the boys and also shooting a carp with a bow that he rigged a fishing line attached to the arrow so he could reel in it. (That is actually something that people really do). Tatum playing in the sand right where the water came up to he little legs and so many other things that I was so mad that I didn't have the camera to capture all those moments. So now I've made it a point that if we are going somewhere that I try to remember it!
Well the house that we put the offer on, we withdrew it because it could be months and months before we know anything. So we found another house and decided to try to get it. This house sat for over 100 days and no action on it until we decided to put an offer on it. Another offer was given the exact same day! Well turns out they never even got a response from the bank on it. So, oh well. I guess we were not suppose to have that house even when we thought we were. We are taking a break on our house hunting. Kind of burned out. So everything else is great though.
Tucker started pre-school. One of the ladies that use to be in the primary presidency with me started one a few years ago. Tucker was a little jealous of Trenton going to school so we decided to try it. He is now asking to go everyday like Trent. It's only Tuesdays and Thursdays so we have to keep reminding him of that.
Tatum is now pretty much running. She walks and runs on her toes like Tucker did. She is really starting to talk now too. She loves Nursery and we love it too. Chris teaches a primary class and I am the 1st counselor in the Primary Presidency so we were counting down the days until she was old enough for Nursery. She walked in the first day and has never had a problem! That is so lucky because the boys were both opposite. Oue baby girl is so great and we love all of our kids soooo much:)
