Daddy the Graduate!!!!!

Well the big day finally came and he did it! We are so proud and happy for him. It was such an exciting trip back up to Flagstaff and we were so grateful to our family who supported us during all of our time in school!

Our hike

We took the kids on a hike up to Thumb Butte (a mountain in Prescott). They had so much fun especially the fact that we let Trenton carry a pocket knife. They both had on their camelbacks, so they thought they were pretty grown up.
The three of them enjoying the nice sunny day. They were walking
up and down the sidewalk with Tatum.

Grandpa Burk and the boys

Grandpa Burk like to cut the grass and so do the boys. He puts on a train car from the train and pulls them around. They sure do love it.

Well again it's been a month. So I think it's safe to say that I'm a month blogger. In the past month our family has had quite a few little things that have gone on. The first being that our Tucker tunred the big 3! so the kids are all on their odd years in age. Trent is 5, Tuck's 3, and Tatum is 1! So anyways the rest of our month....Trenton and Tucker started gymnastics. They both go once a week. Not saying that my kids are the best, but they are both very good in each of their classes. Then in June they will start swim lessons. So Tatum has developed a horrible rash that we think was caused from an allergic reaction to amochocillen. ( i know I didn't spell that right) Literally her entire body is covered in this rash. The doctor says it should pass, so we are hopeful it will soon.
I, Brittany, have been getting into canning. I'm all about the food storage right now. It's about time. We've been married almost 7 years and I have only ever done just getting extra canned food and some other little things. I made my first trip to the cannery in Mesa. I really enjoy it too. My sister and sister-in-laws are going to be canning fruit soon.
Well graduation is a little over a week away and Chris and I are so excited! For graduation I was getting him a present, but he said that if he got a present then I should get a present too. I thought that was cute. I didn't turn him down.
We are so excited to see all the classmates at graduation. We hope it all goes well and we'll see you there!!!!

I'll have to tell you all a little secret...our family anthem is "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. Chris introduced Trenton to it about two years ago. We got him a little MP3 player 2 Christmas' ago and we downloaded some songs onto it. They consisted of Bon Jovi, Metallica, Kelly Clarkson, Tim McGraw, and Micheal Jackson, and some others. So yes, they were grown up songs for a four year old, but that is what he loved. So let's just say that Bon Jovi is embedded to his brain and now into Tucker's. Soon I'm sure it will be into Tatums also. So every FHE that is our opening song picked by the boys. So that is why it is now our title of our blog because it is truly our song!

So look at me again. Another month has gone by and I'm now getting around to posting again. So our month in a nut shell...here we go....Chris finished his internship in Chandler, hooray, Tatum turned one, I, Brittany turned 27, Chris started his final internship back in Prescott and we registered Trenton for kindergarten, Potty trained Tucker , and started Tatum on whole milk. (our kids don't seem to do that transition very well at all), WOW! Among all the other things in everyday life, I have felt like this has been a busy month. Next we have Tucker's 3rd birthday this Saturday, the 28Th. Having three birthdays is our family all in March, lets just say that is an expensive month.

It is so exciting to know that we may finally start to think about where to move also. Either to just rent or to buy. That thought of maybe being able to purchase a house seems so unreal. We've shared walls with people our entire marriage of 6 1/2 years that we kind of don't know what to think or where to even start? It will be an interesting journey.

well so that is what our month has been like and we hope everyone else is all doing well too!!!
