He got it! Chris was able to get his Elk this year with his BOW! A nice 6x6. That is a hard thing to do, but he did it and did it well:) Chris' Dad was able to go with him and help which was a great father, son bonding time for them. This means we have some Elk jerky coming thanks to some help from two of Brittany's brother's, Ryan and Taylor:) They helped Chris get the Elk out of the really difficult terrain. Thanks everyone!!

He got it!
He got it! Chris was able to get his Elk this year with his BOW! A nice 6x6. that sure is a huge animal! I have a friend whose husband is a big hunter, and he also recently got himself an elk using a bow, and they had a very similar picture on their blog. I don't necessarily like looking at the dead animals, but it is impressive and I'll bet you'll have a lot of good meat coming your way now!
