1 ST GRADER NOW!

Look at our BIG 1st grader. We still can't believe that he is old enough to be in school let alone in 1st grade. This was taken right before I walked him in the school. He was so excited that he woke up 3 times. He said to me, "we need to get up and get ready or we're going to be late, mom!" I kept telling him that we were not going to be late and that when it was time the alarm clock will go off. He said that he likes his teacher and that it was fun seeing all his friends again. He's so cute and we love our first baby so much. Good job, Trenton!

Tatum is growing up

No picture for this, yet, but I wanted to announce to the WORLD that I have not changed a diaper in over 2 weeks! Tatum is, we think, pretty much pottie trained! It's been over 6 years since I have been diaper free. There were times I was changing 2 sets at the same time! So 2 weeks ago Monday Chris and I said if we are going to do this, it's got to start now before the summer is over. With the boys, Trenton took about a week before I felt like I could go somewhere and know that he could really tell me that he needed to go and we'd make it there without an accident, Tucker at least 2. Tatum was doing great at 2 DAYS! She was also 8 months younger than when i started the boys. In this case, the girl did it faster than a boy. You hear that a lot and sometimes it's true. She is a passie free girl too! We had been letting her have one at night and at nap time, but finally IT'S gone. I really didn't like her having it. So I love it. She is out of her crib and into a regular bed. So there has been some major changes for her and she has done very good with all of it! Our baby girl is starting to turn into a little girl! We are so proud of her!!!!

4th of JULY & The Boot Race

Tucker and Jalie ready for the Boot Race! Well, Jalie maybe not, but they look like they are having fun. Trenton and Hunter behind waiting for their turn. They all run in age groups so it's a little more fair. Last year Tuck's won in the 3 and under age group. This year neither he nor Jalie placed, but they both did a great job trying!

Trenton and Hunter were ready! They both did good, but also didn't place! They had a ton of fun and were both really good sports for trying!

Tatum showing her candy she was getting when the parade was going on!

Hanging out before the parade started! This is their Papa Burk and Aunt Bev and Uncle Dave.

Trenton and Tucks after the boot race! They are so great. Love them!

Kids, Kids, and more Kids!

I think That Chris and I have some really, really cute kids! They let me dress them alike and then take their pictures for Father's Day. Thanks kids!
Here is all of the Burk side cousins (2 on the way still). So far there is 11 and soon 13 after Feb. 2011! Fun day that was. They seem to come in 3's if you can tell?

Here is one I thought had to be blogged because Tucker is winking so cute:)

Chris just returned from taking Trenton on his first overnight backpacking trip with Chris's Dad and brother. Chris was a little worried about taking Trenton because it was a steep trail about 2.5 miles to camp but Chris said Trenton did great and was able to do the whole thing by himself. Trenton had a lot of fun and Chris was able to teach Trenton some valuable skills like packing a bag, building a fire, and enjoying the opportunity to pee off of high places! gross.

Swing Set Box DONE! Next....

Ok, so don't look at the grass, we're hoping it will come in still. One project at a time and the first was the play area. Next, who knows, probably pulling the weeds that seem to multiply faster than we can keep up with.

Well I'll tell you we have been very busy here in our household! Since moving into our home in late November, we have had a lot of changes. Chris and I got callings right away in our new ward team teaching CTR4/5, AWESOME! Then only after 1 month the bishopric called us in. we were to speak that day so we thought nothing of the meeting. Well some big changes were to happen and we were very unaware. I was called to be the Primary President! The first thing out of my mouth was, "Your serious"!!!! I couldn't believe it. We had only been in the ward for 2 months. We still were trying to connect faces and names. How was I to even know who to even think about for counselors? The Lord was there though to help! A lot of praying and it just came. My testimony was strengthened. Well Chris stayed teaching for another month and now he is the 2ND counselor in the Young Men's. So in that way we have had a lot of new things to do. We are enjoying it though.
So we had 3 birthdays in March, Tatum, mom, and Tucker. Trenton started T-Ball, Chris is enjoying work, we are loving our house, Tatum is learning to ride her bike (with training wheels still, Chris says when she turned 3 she won't have them anymore) and school is almost over for the kindergarten kid! There is NO baby news for us though. Congrats to all those who are expecting! We are still very content with our 3!!!! Well that's about it I suppose. Until next time:)

Time to finally post!

Tatum turned 2 and Tucker turned 4!!!!

So it's been too long since I've had tome to post anything. Tonight I have a chance because i have only one little girl home with me. Daddy and Trenton are on a backpacking trip and Tucks is with a cousin spending the night. I'll catch you all up on us in just a couple of pictures:}

So here is Trenton with his backpack. The three of them in their Easter clothes for church. Notice the pink and yellow wall...wanes coating is coming soon. That;s why it;s not painted on the lower half of Tatum's room.

Tatum's new little looks

I curled Tatum's hair for the first time. She really liked it too.

Here is the back or side I guess. Usually it's much straighter.
The other night after dinner and jammie's...she insisted on putting on this. The hat from her great grandma Cox and a swimming suit. We thought it was pretty funny.

She got some dress-up clothes from her papa Burk. Every night we have been playing dress-up. She puts all her necklaces and bracelets on. She is so girl, loves to play with her babies and make-up, and her dresses, but still plays hard with the boys!

Christams

I figured that it is better late than never to finally document Christmas to you all. Our Christmas morning started off like this....... Big Paper!

Well here was the kids first look at Christmas morning. It's been the tradition to "barricade" the kids from the tree. Chris had this tradition growing up.
Tatum got a Pink Tonka Truck. She loved it too. Chris and I painting it from the yellow and black to the pink and black. Sounds easier than it really was!

Tucker was so excited to get his Optimus Prime! That is all he wanted and he was so surprised!

Trenton got a new BB Gun. Tucker also got one so there would not be any fighting!

Tatum was the first one to open this year. The boys helped and the fist thing she said was, "Pink"! Then she pushed it down the hallway and back. So cute.
